Do you have any T-shirts that you no longer wear, but can’t part with? If so, this class is for you! Make a T-shirt quilt with them, and make a keepsake of all those memories! We will stabilize, size, and piece your T-shirts into a usable quilt. In this 4-night class, you’ll learn basic quilt construction skills, how to stabilize t-shirts and cutting techniques.

What You Need to Bring to Class

    For first class:

  • Your sewing/quilting machine in good working order, including your owner’s manual
  • T-Shirt Quilts Made Easy Pattern Book
  • 12 T-Shirts that you plan to quilt
  • French fuse for stabilizing the T-Shirts (available at the shop for purchase)
  • 15in.x 15in. square ruler
  • 18in.x 24in. cutting mat
  • Basic quilting notions & supplies, such as rotary cutter, ruler for cutting fabric, pins, fabric scissors, stitch ripper, fabric marker/chalk, etc.
    For second class:

  • Your sewing/quilting machine in good working order, including your owner’s manual
  • 1¼ yard fabric for sashing
  • ½ yard fabric for cornerstones
  • ½ yard fabric for inner border
  • 2⅓ yard fabric for outer border & binding
  • Basic quilting notions & supplies, such as rotary cutter, ruler for cutting fabric, pins, fabric scissors, stitch ripper, fabric marker/chalk, etc.
